Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Elizabeth Copan is a graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Art where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics with a minor in Photography. 

Her unique combination of ceramics, photography, and printmaking has received critical acclaim from fellow artists, critics, and galleries across the United States, including Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio in New York City.  

In addition to exhibiting in galleries and traveling shows, Elizabeth teaches seasonal classes and workshops, and is involved with the American Craft Council and the Potter's Council.
